Barry L. Mintzer

Barry is a partner in the firm’s Health Care Practice Group.  Barry specializes in representing mental health professionals with complaints before licensing boards including the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Psychologists, the Board of Registration of Social Workers, and the Board of Registration of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professionals.  Barry has represented mental health professionals in over 450 psychology board, social work board and allied mental health board complaints. 

Barry also has a broad range of experience in mergers, corporate affiliations, asset purchases and sales and general corporate representation of human service and behavioral health companies, both for- profit and tax-exempt.  He is counsel to many human service and behavioral health companies and brings over 40 years of experience and understanding working with issues unique to their businesses.
