Richard D. Bickelman

Richard is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Litigation Departments, and leads the Transportation Law Group.  He joined Posternak following more than 20 years with Deutsch Williams, where he was one of the founding members of the firm.  Richard is engaged in a general business practice where he provides tailored, hands on legal representation to his and the firm’s individual and corporate clients ranging from general business and personal advice to the management of complex litigation.

Richard devotes substantial time to representing businesses of various sizes in a wide range of matters including acquisitions, financing arrangements, contractual relations, corporate restructuring and governance, employment and administrative matters.  He specializes in providing legal services to companies involved in the logistics and transportation businesses, whether as a provider or consumer of such services.  Richard is also a well-versed litigator, with extensive experience in commercial disputes and other complex litigations.  He also works with animal rights and welfare organizations, and maintains an active interest in that practice area.
